Turkish Airlines’ A320 engine shut down in flight

Turkish Airlines’ Airbus A320-200, TC-JPS tail registirated, performing flight TK-1743 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Stuttgart was diverted due to oil problems with an engine of plane at 1 st March.

The crew shut the right hand engine down due to engine oil pressure problems. The aircraft diverted to Vienna.

Turkish Airlines’ A320 remained on the ground in Vienna for about 5.5 hours, then continued the flight to Stuttgart and reached the destination with a delay of 6 hours.
