Pegasus Airlines General Manager Mehmet Nane made a press release after the accident at Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

"It is not easy to come here, we will do whatever it takes to heal the wounds," said Nane, who could not control his tears during the press conference.

"We are very sorry. A team of 18 gathered and  started the administration. There was 183 people on the plane. Unfortunately we had 3 deaths. 180 people including our teams were sent to hospitals. 56 of 180 people were sent to their homes.  All kinds of support are provided for people who are treated in the hospital. This process is a difficult process for us, the families of those who lost their lives.  Information sharing is managed by the local authority.  It is not possible for us as a company to make a statement without the competent authorities making a statement.  Black boxes were taken safely. If our pilots see risk, it is stated by regulations that they pass or be directed to other airports.

It is not easy to come here.  It is not easy to talk especially at the point of loss of life and injuries.  After that, we will do everything for to heal the wounds. We will share more information with you through official channels.

I would like to thank all who supported us. “

Pegasus Airlines General Manager Mehmet Nane stated that he can not accept questions coz he want to continue to be near injured passengers.
