Istanbul Airport Screens Chinese Travellers Amid Coronavirus Fears
Istanbul airport have taken measures to screen travelers arriving from China in an attempt to identify people infected with the new coronavirus. The symptoms the airport authorities would look for are fever, cough, cold, breathing difficulties and sore throat.
The World Health Organization has said that the coronavirus outbreak was likely to spread. It has already killed six people, according to the mayor of the Chinese city of Wuhan.
The new coronavirus strain has caused alarm because of its connection to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which killed nearly 650 people across mainland China and Hong Kong in 2002-2003.
